First Training Update
Thanks to everyone who has donated so far! Training has been going well. I started researching methods to train and began preparing back in December. I finally was able to sign up for the race when registration opened this month (May). I am officially registered and now well into my training plan.
I have been following the Hal Higdon training plans and reading up on nutrition, cross training, supplements and equipment from various sources (so many books, Runner's World magazine, blogs, etc.)
